Nicholas Ballou advanced to the Division III Men's Tennis Singles Final, although he was edged, 6-2, 1-6, 6-2, by No. 1 seed Dillon Pottish of Emory in the championship match.

He led the Kingsmen to a second round appearance in the NCAA Tournament and he and doubles partner Ray Worley earned All-America recognition as they advanced to the quarterfinals as a team.

Ballou concluded his junior campaign with a 26-7 singles record, a 25-5 doubles record, a pair of All-America nods, a SCIAC Player of the Year recognition and an Ojai Tournament title.
